Just got my new gears in [3.42s] and dyno tune! After the 2.73s it feels like a different car. Yesterday after I picked it up it felt a bit stronger than it does today. I think that the temperature might have had an effect. It was 75 out yesterday and its about 89 today. My o-60 today is 5.21 on my g-tech. I didnt check it yesterday but as I said, the car felt stronger and would break the tires loose very easily! I really thought the car would run about 4.9 to 5 flat o-60 with the new gear! Any of you have experience with any power loss due to outside temp and humidity? I"ll try again when I get a cooler day.
Thanks Dave

Living in the Desert southwest - high ambient temperatures are always a factor. I've never dyno'd my car or run it in the 1/4 mile, but it does feel stronger when the air is cool. From science class 40 years ago - I believe the air is denser in cooler temperatures, and internal combustion engines like cool dense air.
