Speed limit is 65 MPH in Illinois
however.....legally reached 109.06 MPH in 12.656 seconds at Gateway International NHRA Drag strip last week (6-26-07).
On May 20, reached 130 MPH on the NASCAR Texas Motor Speedway during the 18th Lone Star Corvette Classic in Fort Worth, Texas.
On the ride home from Texas, my 345 horse power 1997 Arctic White coupe got 31.6 miles-per-gallon at legal speeds; 75mph in Oklahoma,
and 70 mph in Missouri. Got to love it..
