been around the show scene for years,,,never seen a car with gold plate age well at all. the plating always wears and just looks like crap. Hope they have a better process. Seriously,, it doesnt matter what one does to THEIR car, its not yours, so dont diss him for his tastes...
I have a few things most dont care for on my car,, but I dont want to drive a car that looks like every other red c5 coupe....
but, my opinion is this. its a vette , the mods should be aimed at performance,,,,,not just bling. While some performaance oriented mods ( like ground effect and wings) may or may not add performace,,,at least they are intended too....the gold,, well it belongs on a cadilac,,,thats my opinion....

Black and Gold is and was very 70's remember the Firebirds and Trans Ams and we also know how retro is in HHR's, PT loosers, 300m's, etc - this guy is just ahead of the game.

Ah, you beat me to it. I have to admit, this is a little over the top for my taste, but I certainly respect the time, effort, and $$$ you've put in to personalize your car.

Don't worry about Brett01Z06. On a public forum there's always some middle school internet tough guy trying to compensate for all of the times he's rubbed one out to the JC Penney underwear ads in the Sunday paper.
