Default New Servers...

Be honest everyone...

Do the new servers seem faster, slower, or about the same to you?

I seem to notice a slight improvement.

For a while it seemed they were a bit slower. But in general I can't say I really noticed a change. I'm sure some one has some benchmarks to prove they are faster though. I often visit the site when most people are sleeping so that probably affects things.

I know it is not what it's been..early evening crawl very slow. Up to a couple of days ago was taking 15-30 secs or just 404. Did not notice that tonight....Holding breath.

This morning they seem lightning fast. I guess the speed issue is magnified over here in England. Recently they've been very slow but that can often be net useage at peak times here.

I'd say a big improvement

Default Seems faster to me

I have high speed cable and if it doesn't load instantaneously I am frustrated. But it does seem quicker. Time will tell.

Default Dial Up?

Can you guys believe that there are Forum members out there still on dial up? Of course some don't have access to cable. However my 80 year old dad in Oregon has some dish type antenna on his home out in farming country and has high speed so I am not sure there is much excuse for dial up anymore? I am certain that I will get flamed over that rash and nasty statement!

Even if you don't have access to cable, and don't want to spend the money for satalite, there's still DSL. That's what I have, and I'm very happy with it.
