Z06 engine does it have a serial #
I have a 2001 Z06 does the engine have a serial number that matches the VIN?
I'm asking because I want to know if I need to keep the original engine if I take it out.

yes it does,it has your vin number stamped on it,look from under the car ,driver side,behind or above oil filter,on pad on block,I can't remember exact location,there are two numbers there ,it's the top one
