Road Trip Statistics
I recently returned from a 6 day road trip in my 2001 Mag Red Coupe. Here are the statistics.
Total Miles: 1533.2
Gas Mileage: 26.4 MPG
Oil Consumption: Zip
I was wondering if anyone else has any similar statistics, about 80% of the trip was on the interstate at speeds of 70 to 75 MPH.
I waved at every Vette I saw along the way, if I missed anyone, I apologize.

With 80% of your miles on the interstate at 70 to 75 MPH, I would have thought you'd get better mileage than 26.4 average.
I took a short road trip (400 miles) a few weeks ago over two mountain ranges with the A/C on at 65 to 75 MPH and I averaged 28.0.
From what I've seen Forum members post, it's not uncommon for some of them to get 30 to 34 MPG on the interstate.
It probably depends some on your driving style, temperature, humidity, tires, mods (if any) etc.

Wow, that kind of dispells the myth that you can't get good mileage with a 4.10 rear end.
