After painting the calipers simply sand the letters. They are raised letters so the sandpaper will only hit the hi spots. this is the only way to get a perfect job. Chapstip does not work it looks sloppy if the chapstick gathers on the edges. Mine look great I touch them up often and keep them looking new. I painted the brackets and the back of the brake pads also.

Chapstick isn't necessary, just take a sharp razorblade across the letters and it comes off clean. Then polish the letters with a fine sandpaper. Looks clean when done.
put a little chapstick on the letters befoee your paint...
Once the paint dries use a razor blade and the chapstick allows the paint to slice cleanly off.
Once the paint is removed, use some very fine sandpaper or steel wool to brighten the letters then coat with a paint sealant like Rejex/Zaino etc.
