Heads and cam (even though I picked up 100rwhp) I bought the best parts... but I should have waited and just done a Supercharger and been done with it. I would have more power and stock drivability for the most part.

Sometimes I regret mods period... I love my car, but being a perfectionist it's a never ending cash pit... always something to change. And being that I run HPDE's w/ the car lots of things need constant attention.

There are days I wish I had left the car bone stock and done the bare minimum to safely run track days.

Other days I love the monster I've created. In reality, I'm stuck w/ the car, it's modded, raced, has 75,xxx miles, and ****ty paint. I'd be hard pressed to sell it for 25k w/ mods.

So... I'm making it more of a track rat and one day I'll get a waxer vert for the street. It makes it easier to look at all the rock chips on the current car.

Your candor is refreshing! (I heavily modded a C4 and regretted it. And lost my azz when I sold it.)

Heavy modding is great until you get tired of the car and want to move on.

I don't want to move on at all. I have my GMC Canyon which is a nice, quiet, truck for the daily commuting duties.

I just get tired of spending so much money on the car... the latest HPDE at VIR left me w/ a roaring RR wheel bearing and my front lower control arm bushings have finally pushed out and need to be replaced, and I had 3 worn out wheel studs.

So... car goes under the knife next week for VB&P full poly bushings, new rear wheel bearings (replaced the fronts in early '06), and ARP hardened wheel studs all around.

There goes $1200... but on the positive, w/ the polys in there she'll handle better and I'll never have to deal w/ the control arm bushings again as the polys don't deflect and push out like the oem rubber ones do. The trade off is more noise which is fine for my use of the car.

It's a never ending money pit... but the thrill of driving it on track makes it worth it. Plus, the car is still very streetable once you get used to the cam. Tonight my GF and I are taking it out to dinner... she likes the rumble and shake

I regret the screens on the rear bumper. They looked cool but I lost both of them within the first week. I was a bit skeptical about the attachement method, but followed the instructions anyways

I CONSIDERED THOSE OPTIONS, BUT DECIDED ON A MAGGIE. THE STOCK DRIVABILITY IS GREAT.

I wasted $200 on the PIAA headlights. They suck and they really aren't any brighter....just a little whiter. I may still $hitcan them and stick in the Sylvania Silverstars. I would have saved myself about $100 too.

None for me so far. That is the great thing about the forum, you can search nearly any mod here and find the negatives and positives about it and make up your own mind. Most are very honest and helpful.
