Corvette Hoods
Speaking of hoods, I sure wish the C5 hood was designed simular to my C4's hood......I love that hood design, and it always closes.....................it is quite heavy..........

And mines now 6 years old, never an issue.

I don't slam any car opening!! I close/latch one side and walk around and close/latch the other side! It is really not that far, I usually don't have to pack a lunch for the walk!!!

It takes a bit of time, but the hoodstops can be adjusted to
allow you to set the hood down gently, and then firmly push on
the hood center and latch both sides without slamming it.

I seem do do as I did with my 65' and that was to let it down, place a towel and push till latched on each one. Never failed yet.
