I'm a chrome type of guy. But I realy like the set up you have on your car. I think it gives it a nice racy look. Keep the black and use the money you save for some other parts.

Car looks great with the black wheels; I think your MOD money might be better spent elsewhere. Many people who cherish the C5's great design would say that losing the BSM would be an instant improvement!

I like the set-up you have on now best Micah, it looks sweet! The chrome Z wheels look great too.

Here's a couple black rear shots for ya, my old '98....thought about blackouts but never pulled the trigger.

Chrome C6 Z06 wheels look great on any color in IMO, sorry to say I'm not a fan of black wheels period, on black, they look to much like Knight Rider, I agree with with others, keep the blackouts but go with chrome wheels, either C6Z06 or thin spokes. JMO

IMO - Dont change anything.

I would instead focus on additional mods.

I would like to see your corvette lettering in some sort of tribute to the Gators.

Maybe in the front at a minimum since you have the back exhaust plate.

Once again - Dont get rid of your blackout kit.... you spent good money on this look and its awesome.

Good Luck with your decision.

I guess I will just keep checking out cars and see if this "thinking of change" moves on to "wanting to change."

I say keep the Black-outs for one thing!

Now as far as the Rims go I'd go back to the CHROMIES!

Do the C6 Z06 like these they look great!

Here's a shot of mine:

Thanks,Matt

Leave it like it is. Whenever we go driving together your car always gets remarks where mine never does. Even thought the blacked out look is popular you see it a lot more on the forum than the street.

Save your money for the hood. If anything get the all black powdercoated Z06 wheels.

Not a fan of the blackout kit on a black car, I'd loose that. Also, the wheels are ok, but, I would probably go to chrome or polished aluminum. You can get a high quality used set on the forum reasonably priced. Either way, nice car.
