as a handheld, the HPIII is like most others... it works, but has limitations when compared to full blown tuner programs.
the reason you don't see many C5 owners using it is because of the rear gear bug it has. With the autotrans C5... the HPIII fails to alter a critical table, and it will cause an error code to be set.
if your C5 is a manual tranny model, then you are imune to this HPIII bug.
when it comes to handhelds being used on C5's.. I think you'll find the majority using the Diablosprot Predator.
