Logical Reason Why

I had the '99 Vette and a Honda for daily driving. 9/11 came along and I desided life was to short. Sold the Honda put the Vette into action as my daily driver. 103k miles of smiles and no regrets.
Hell, I don't like leaving it in the hot sun for that matter.
But I'm ok with that, my car stays nice and clean and in mint condition.
Am I crazy - yes.
I bought my car back in March of this year and put less than 200 miles on it
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

This probably makes the most sense and is the best logical explanation. A corvette should never be driven dirty - the more you drive it the more you have to clean it.For me, I drive it all the time and clean it all the time. If you are cleaning and maintaining it constantly, it doesn't matter how many miles it has on the clock. If it looks great it will always command a good resale price.
Anyone got a sound reason for this??

I also am careful about were I leave it parked, so the movies on a Saturday night we take the truck. I've heard to many horror storys about Vetts being vandalized.
Other than that I shouls drive it more, although I am aneat freak about the car

"I just washed mine for the first time in a month (it's driven daily, even in the rain/mud/snow) and while I enjoy it clean, there is no way I am going to sacrifice seat time for clean time...
BIGHANK
I suspect that some folks draw as much pleasure from the act of ownership as they do from driving. "I have a xxxx-mile Vette waiting for me in the garage". If it was a xxxxx-mile, or (horrors!) xxxxxxx-mile Vette, it wouldn't be as pleasureable. And that's fine! To each their own. I bless garage queen owners, as they ensure I will always be able to find a pristine car to buy.

I bought mine in April '06 with 864 miles on her. Sometime today I will turn over 35,000. I like to drive

The way I look at it is this: when it comes to life, it's ALL going to be 100% depreciated at the end. The only thing you can take with you is memories. And there are no memories in a garage. If I were to forego driving my car as much as I do, I'd get a few more thousand at sale time. But look what I would have given up: all those memories. I'll trade a few thousand bucks for tens of thousands of miles of Vette memories in a hearbeat.
But that's just me. To each their own! But for those of you stuck beside me in the traffic jam, you in your Hyundai and me in my Vette, well, even at 5 mph I think I'm coming out ahead.

The only time mine sit in the garage is for fun parts.
