I had a 99FRC that we put almost 30,000 miles on in about 30 months. That was just weekend driving and a couple of trips. I sold it when I both the 2000 Lingenfelter modifed car in November. Just used on weekends (not in the rain) and we have put around 5,000 miles on it.
I want to buy another Corvette for a street/track day car and possibly even commute in it. Basically if it is a weekend and we are going any place the Corvette gets used. Maybe if I had a C4 Grand Sport I would not drive it as much because it would have some collector value, but knowing me I would still be driving it every chance I could.

I just don't see the point in driving it to work, why would I want to sit in traffic going in and then coming home.
I'd rather drive my Cavalier and get 30+ mpg to work
Plus Corvettes and parking lots are a bad mix.
But, to each his own.
