thats funny because i put mine in the day after i got it, only because i figured that now that i had it it would go bad for sure, i was even worried that with my luck it would happen the next morning, when i was getting into my car to go to work and install the clb

Do it before it's too late ... it's a pretty simple installation, and once in you won't have to wonder every time you get in your car if the column lock is going strand you or not.

My C.L.B. from Corvettes of Houston arrived today. I just finished installing it.
Although I don't like having to spend money on something that GM should have corrected by the 1999 model year, it is still much cheaper and easier than having to be towed due to column lock system failure!

Heads up to anyone ordering from Corvettes of Houston. They default to "Signiture Required" delivery. If this is a problem be sure to specify that you either want it shipped without sig. required or shipped to an alternate address where someone is home all day.

When I ordered mine from COH, I asked if they would make it no signature required and they would not. It was signature required or nothing. I thought that was kind of BS and made me almost not order it from them.
