Default Fast vs LS6

Just a quick question. Which is better for the Dollar? If I were to have a FAST 90 w/ a ported TB or an LS6 w/ a ported TB, what would be the difference in power? Is it worth the extra money? I've always been taught that bigger isn't always better . At least that's what I tell my girlfriend . Is there a size that good for fairly stock cars?

For a stock motor, I think LS6 with stock TB is best. I have read 1000 times on here that the ported TB is nothing but trouble and adds zero power the a stock motor.

Unless you have H/C Package and can take advantage of the FAST w/Ported TB you should stick with the LS6 manifold for the gains!

You'll be suprised at waht can be done and accomplished w/ the LS6 !

It's what's on mine and you can see the numbers in the sig at the bottom!

Thanks,Matt

A fast 90/90 combo works geat on a LS2 or LS7 motor. a PP LS6 head works better on LS1 or LS6 motors.

a PP TB does work, but not if it is the ONLY component put on. That is the challenge, some guys pp the TB on and nothing else then they complain, it didn't work. Well Dahhh?

a PPTB with a Good CAI, and PP LS6 heads, PP LS6 Intake and headers, Tune, LTs, does wonders.

Better hold on to it. I know a couple of guys that lost hp when they switched to the FAST.

From the tests I've seen, the Fast 90/90 flows the best, with the LS6 not too far behind. Adding one does almost nothing to a stock motor.

For a stock motor, look at it this way.

You have a straw, and now you open the bottom of the straw up real wide, is it going to improve your drinking experience? Once you add higher flow heads and cam, then your going to start sucking air harder, where that lower restriction helps. But for stock, save your money.
