Snake Story
Decided to take a ride one night for ice cream at the DQ when out of a field on my right flew a hawk toting a snake about 4 ft long.It went right across the targa top. Sure glad the top was in.Can't imagine what i would have done if the top was out and he dropped the thing. Wife said time to move back to the city.

I would have been testing out the brakes really fast if a bird would have dropped a snake in my car.

Speaking of snake.....in our previous home I was in the attic putting away boxes and when I was walking through the doorway from the attic to the hall a 5 foot snake fell on top of me from the door frame. I almost **** myself and screamed like a little girl. After in fell to the floor it curled up between the exposed studs behind the insulation. Normally I'm not scared of snakes at all but this was a little different. I didn't expect for a 5 foot snake to drop on my head in the attic. After a short battle in the attic and the beast was beheaded. I determined it was a water snake, non-poisonous, and it must have dropped on the roof and crwled in the attic from a tree. As I was putting the dead snake in a plastic bag wifey walks in.........house went on the market.

I like snakes, but hate spiders.... Go figure...

In my first house, the washer/dryer was in the garage. I went out one morning to get some pants out of the dryer. Unknown to me, a snake had crawled into one of the limestone weep holes and ended up sitting on top of the door moulding. When I opened the door, he fell in front of me. I too screamed like a little girl!

I don't mind snakes, but it would be a different matter if one fell on me or in front of me. That would be more than startling.
