Sorry to hear for the loss man.....Best thing you could do is have it totaled out and hopefully you have gap insurance, and buy it back.....part out what is still good on it for a down payment another new ride......But the best thing is that you both are ok to ride another day!
Sorry about your Vette -- but am glad you and your lady are fine!
Man those are harsh to look at. WHY did they smash thru the windshield???? That makes NO sense to me. Was the interior on fire?

I'm glad that you're both OK. In the long run I think that those firemen did you a favor.
That sucks. I'd fight to get a totaled if the insurance doesn't want to. Your resale on that car is going to be next to nil. But then again I don't think they're going to say that it very repairable as the money spent on fixing it and finding the problem probably easily outweighs the cars value.
I had a car ignite while I was driving it years ago. Ended up sitting on someone's stairs, drinking a glass of water and watching it burn. I'd consider it totalled.

Man that makes me absolutely sick. I can't even begin to imagine having that happen to me in any of my cars. Usually when cars are totalled out, they are sold off an auction by the insurance company. In your case, the car is so far gone that I bet if you make a decent offer they would let you keep it. Like utryd2 said above, you can part it out if you have the time and facilities.
God that just sucks.
yes it is sad.....im already starting to look for a new one....dont know what color to get yet.....maybe white....??? who knows...i know i dont want another black one again

When will you know (if at all) what possibly cause it?
Whatever you get... keep in mind, how much more you'll know about it!
