I have the one without the logo, and during my search only
found the two parts numbers, black or white, that fit the C5
shifter threads. But don't take my word for it, see it for yourself:
I got mine from SUMMIT RACING, it's 9/16-18 in black. Have you looked through the classifieds? If you go back several days of ads, I'll bet you'll find one...

Yeah, the one I have pictured was sold by a forum member just recently. I missed the sale by a few minutes.
There is a guy on EBAY that sells those ***** regularly. I believe he's a CF member...his name might be ZR1chris or something similar.
The last time I checked, his were selling at a price with shipping which wasn't that much of a savings, so that's why I went with SUMMIT RACING. I needed a gallon of 303 PROTECTANT as well, which they also have.
Have you tried a want to buy ad in the CF classifieds?

1-800-230-3030 will get you one from OH or NV in less than a week!
...or look at EBAY #280150415310 for $28.95 plus $3.05 shipping by the guy who usually sells them. I used keywords "hurst **** c5 corvette"...there may be others at auction as well...

Hotwheels..........the ebay ad also says, "Brand new Hurst Classic-style shift **** in buyer's choice of white or black, 9/16"-18 thread for '97-04 C5 6-speed Corvettes only- stock or aftermarket shifters. 2" diameter, jam nut included. ***** ARE PLAIN ON SIDES, NO LOGO"
Oops, sorry about that!:o The logo **** I have is 2 1/8" in diameter. Come to think of it, "HURST Classic-style" probably means it's not a real HURST ****.
Try this auction then, it's got the logo on the side...300142774925 (the seller is ATLANTIC SPEED)
Here's an image of mine with the oem shifter cut just 3/4" and the jamb nut eliminated...

As others have posted The real Mc Coy marketed for C5s are 2 1/8" in diameter. I got mine years ago from Corvette Central. I'm sure other mail order houses list them as well. Here's mine.
I hate to admit shopping with them but I got one from Jeg's. Only problem, package was open and lock nut missing. When I complained, they sent me a standard hardware nut. Subsequent complaint was ignored. I used red loctite, no problems.
The e-Bay supplier had more requests for the smaller *****, so he quit carrying the larger ***** with the Hurst logo. I am not sure Hurst still makes the ones with the logo anymore.
I got mine from Summit and when I tried to screw it on, it tightened up like wrong threads. I complained to Summit and they agreed to send me another and credit me when they got the return. While waiting I went to a local garage and was going to find exactly what the wrong threads were. It was the right one! Kept looking and realised that the paint on the Hurst shifter threads needed to be removed. Then it screwed on easily. Summit treated me great with MY problem

I think the logo is still available. What I find interesting is the various sizes of the *****. I've never really dwelled on it, but as an original geezer from back in the day...the ***** were at least 2" in diameter. You knew you had a hand full when the ***** were bigger. What sizes are available? Anyone know off hand?
Typically, spherical ***** are available in 1.8, and 2.0 inches, with a few at 2.13. I made 2.16-inch versions as an alternative to the smaller ones. The 1.8-inch **** is best for shifters that are postioned very low and require very low effort - as in a Honda Civic. Still, my son uses my 2.16 version in his Honda and hasn't complained yet!
I read this thread on the 9th and immediately placed an order for the black **** with the ebay seller. Then I went on a two week vacation.
Just got back to find the **** had arrived.
I gotta report, this is the BEST shift **** I've used to date! I've used the stock **** and a Momo round ****. It actually makes shifting into each gear easier!
I know what you are thinking, how can that be? All I can say is, there is a very noticible positive difference with the HURST shift ****.
I do have the Hurst shifter installed as well so all I can think is, the Hurst engineers must have figured out exactly what weight and size the **** should be for their shifters because to me, its a perfect match.
I let my girlfriend try it just to see if I was imagining things or not. She thought the same thing; it made shifting into each gear position much easier for her.
If you like its style I recommend this ****; especially if you already have the Hurst shifter installed.
