This is what I'm looking for, a RED shifting ball with the 6sp pattern on it. Must fit the standard 6sp shifter on a '00 FRC. T/R in color would be better. Where can I buy one? I would appreciate any ideas.

The only thing I can think of for you to do is buy the red ball you've been referred to and take it to a company that has a laser and does trophies, plaques, etc. Ask them if they can laser engrave a curved surface such as the shift ball. Getting the shift pattern is the easy part as it's all done on a computer beforehand. It's the actual engraving onto a curved surface that's going to possibly be the hangup. BTW, yes they laser engrave plastics all the time. I had a custom engraving done on an acrylic trophy several years ago, but the trophy had a flat surface.
Thanks, I just knew someone would come through.

Get a Flame ball in red as glenn mentioned then have someone engrave the 6 spd shift patten on it then fill it in with black paint. http://www.flameball.com/Plain/PL-2.htm
Just a note: A trophy shop typically engraves characters in a flat surface. Machines that can do this are relatively inexpensive. However engraving a shift pattern in a spherical shape may very well require a 5-axis CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine that costs $100,000 or more. Unless you personally know someone who runs one of these, you will spend far more than the shift **** to get the engraving done.
It can be done, but it is not a task that can be done by a simple machine.

A vision engraving system may work, they claim to work on odd shaped objects.
