Oh this is going to get good, don't test the Mods. Maybe you should ask the mod first before reposting the link a 3rd time.

to be honest the $1000 have the advantage as far as they have the clear lens and projector housing where the ones I just bought use the stock housing so the light is projected differently.

in a side by side comparison the difference is NOT worth the $700...

don't get me wrong I love my HIDs but if I had to do it again I would save the $700 and buy some clear lenses...

that being said...anyone know where I can get clear lenses for her 02??

Changing to HID has anyone had problems with the headlights not going down unless put on brights first? I know it is due to the HID being 35 watt and the computer looks for a 55 watt voltage drop to know when to close the doors.

If so what did you do about it?

I heard of adding 55watt 5 ohm resistor and got some but they get very hot and I don't want to use them. Any other ideas?

This is all good info. i would also be interested to hear about the 35 to 55 watt problem and if it occurs often. could prevent me from buying.

Listen, there is no problem if you buy djmotorsport HID's. Everything works as normal. But if your a skimper go ahead and take your chance on fleabay and I'm sure we will here from you asking for a fix later; just like most of those buyers before. BTW, djmotorsport gives a satisfaction garrantee which means that if you don't like the kit you can send back after a few days and get a total refund.
