I'm looking at importing a C5 into Canada from the USA.
I've figured out much of everything else but am not sure on the running lights: Does the C5 have running lights or parking lights already on when started?
I had kind of expected it not to, but one fellow said his did and I can't find anything to tell me either way.
The US spec has DRLs permanantly active when you let off the E brake. DRLs work by lighting the turn signal bulbs (dual filament), The parking lights are in the side of the same cluster. The DRLs can be inhibited by pulling the A2 fuse or doing the relay jumper mod.
Canadian spec cars have the Twilight Sentinel (which gives light level activated headlights and parking lights), permanently enabled. On a US spec car you can turn TS off via the DIC.
