I was just wondering who holds the record for the most miles traveled on a road trip? I recently did a 5030 mile trip, but I doubt that is the longest.
We went to the Black Hills + for two weeks last summer, about 4,500 miles round trip. The C5 is a great car for long trips. I won't even consider doing that trip in my '76.

Last August I did over 8,000 in my C5. We went from CA to BG KY, to Williamburg VA, Washington DC, Gettyburg PA, Kansas City via the norther route and back to CA. We did all this in a matter of 2 weeks. By the time we drove around the individual areas it was more than 10,000 miles racked up on my 2000 coupe. She is staying with us for along time so the mileage on her means very little to me.

Ottawa to Marquette MI, MArquette MI to Billing MT, Then Billing to Vancouver BC
5500 or so. I have done SoCal to Ohio 3 times in my 2004. Best road trip car ever.
Best road trip car ever.
We drove from San Antonio to El Paso to 4 Corners to Grand Canyon to Las Vegas almost non stop. We had about 4 or 5 hours break inbetween.
We left San Antonio at 2PM, and arrived in Las Vegas at 10PM the next day. The engine was running for well over 24 hours and there wasn't a single flaw. (We were even beating the **** out of it most of the way)
From NJ, drove to Chicago and did Rt66 all the way to California. Then took the southern route to San Diego, then east to Texas, up to Memphis and eventually back home: 30 days and 7700 totally enjoyable miles.
I drove from NC to DC to Ft Riley, KS just before my deployment. Expedia says 1420 miles. However I did pull my C5 on a trailor from Olympia, Wa to Ft Gordon, Ga to NC; 3292 miles...
