Hey guys, well I sold my 2002 Corvette the other day. Wish I could've kept it but Im only 20 years old and storing the Vette in the winter and everything else that goes into maintaining a Vette was difficult for me to do with my job. I will still be creaping around the forum though, unfortunately not with a Vette though. And if you interested in what I picked up instead of the Vette it is a 2003 BMW 745Li in the rarest color of them all which is Alpine White. Enjoy your Vettes guys!
...especially a 7-series - HUGE repair bills, very often. I suggest getting a 2001 Honda Prelude, Mazda Miata, or something similar.
I just took my 2006 425(DD) in for service (the red triangle came up om the dashboard) I took it in just "routine" maintenance . I saw the ticket $1500. Oil, brake fluid flush and a general check up 20k miles
Thank goodness for the 4 year 50k everything included warranty .
mt cost $0.00. An older Bimmer is going to be expensive to maintain let alone they are bad in the snow.

Wow, sounds like you jumped to a more expensive car to maintain and repair. Don't think that the folks at Bayerische Motoren Werke, aka "BMW" are going to give away free service for the first 50,000 miles because they are great guys.
It's because they don't want the hideous publicity that will follow when people find out how unbelievably expensive it is to repair and maintain their brand new cars, with all the pricey proprietary parts that one must use. Then, once the car has 50,000 on it, it's considered "used" and that makes it somebody else's problem.
That said, good luck, sir. I hope it all works out for you.
Good luck with the BMW. I am a long time BMW owner and love them. Unfortunatley, you will eventually be begging for the Corvette Tax because the BM'R Tax is 3 times as bad. Join one of the BMW Forums as well- without a little help 745 will also be the # of your mobile address.
