I will be keeping my badges for awhile, but I love this Z!!!! It is done perfectly!!!! I am a new Z06 owner so removing anything will have to wait till I decide what I like and dislike.... I hope to see more and more C5s in person to help me make up my mind!!! Even the pictures on this fourm help a lot!!!!!

There's a lot of cool badges in this thread, but I never really understood the LS1 badges since that's what the car comes with anyway. If anything, it just reassures people know that it doesn't have the LS6 but why advertise that?

I've got an LS-1, and I never understood the plain LS-1 badge either (the Z06 lookalikes or the vinyl stickers you can get). "Lookie, I'm a few parts away from an F-body motor." Not that there's anything wrong with that.... I like the no-badges look better, and I'd love to even fill in the Corvette lettering on the back, too.

Off topic, but still badging: Anyone see the new Ford Super Duty trucks? You'll know it's a Super Duty, uh, coz it says "Super Duty" across the front in lettering larger than on any Kenworth. It's like a caricature. Anyway....

I have the LS1 on my back end...but I am thinking about taking it off...cause it is a lie. I have one of those 01 cars that they used the LS6 block and manifold in...now if the dang thing was just set up like the Z06 I would be happier.
