I have the Borla cat-back duals for about 3 years now, last week one pipe looked to be hanging down so I went to the place where I bought them. Once on the lift, there was a crack about an inch behind the clamps on both pipes. One had already failed and the other was close to failure. The shop said that was common on Borlas and that they arent that well built like they are priced. Since Borla is liftetime warranty, I just had to pay for the repair $45.
just passing on. apparently Corsa, tri-flow and BBs are suppose to be stronger.

Good luck
I'd just chock it up to a rare break. Sounds like your turner isn't a fan, but I don't think his opinion is the final nail in the coffin.
with a lifetime warranty how can they be junk. mine still look like new.
not only do they have a life time warranty but they are one of the few made with 303 stainless steel! Not to mention look at the welding EXCELLENT craftsmanship! Ive had stingers before and I loved them. They arent going on the vette cuz I dont really want it loud.

Four years for me as well with no problems, and this is the first problem such as that that's been posted here. The shop tech doesn't know what he's talking about.
For the guy that said Borla's are junk. I don't think you really thought about your statement before you made it. Borla products are one of the finest made, use specific products, as far as exhaust is concerned. Welds are top quality. Materials used, are the best for the application. I run Kooks LTs on my car and I love them so this is not an endorsement of the following product. But Borla makes LG headers by contract. I know they are one of the highest quality headers produced. I don't think many folks would argue over that. I still do not understand the post. If you have a lifetime warranty why would you spend the money to repair it? Did you contact Borla and let them know what’s going on so they can take care of it, or tighten up their quality control program or get rid of a fabricator/welder that doesn't care about the quality of his or her work.
I've heard numerous reports of Corsa exhausts cracking. never heard of a problem with Borla. I have them on my car and even though I Can't compare to any other aftermarket options the build quality appears excellent. I don't regret the purchase for a second.
