All, Is the waterfall between the seats removable? Reason I am asking is we have a small Welsh Corgi (30lbs) and I am wondering if I could remove the waterfall, and with the top up, would there be room for the Cogri to sit/lay back there? I realize with the top down, there would not be room for her, but possibly with the top up it would work out. Looking for next Vette and was only looking at coupes for this reason. Would like a convertible if I had room for "Maddie"
Thanks in advance for any info.
You can easily take the trim piece off - just a few screws on top but there's more ironwork around. The waterfall has a mounting post behind it. The gear for securing the tonneau is mounted on top. Even if you did, with the seats in place its a very small "peephole" between the seats.
It would look really bad and it's way too tight even for a Corgi
Yes it is removable but if you take it out the cover wont latch down and it wouldnt look right i dont think but the latch for the tonneu cover is there and the quick release in case the button breaks. so i would say no on that question.
Waterfall can be removed by removing 4 hex screws, two on each side, then just slide straight up. Be careful when putting it back on not to scratch. But like DeeGee stated there is a mounting bracket behind the waterfall.
The plastic shroud (waterfall) surrounding the mechanism used to keep the cover latched is removable but removing the mechanism that holds the top-cover down may be more trouble than its worth.
