Installed PFADT coilovers 2 weeks ago. Still working on ride height. Took about 3 hours to install. Its the best thing I ever did for my car. The car is low still and so much more fun and I feel safer to drive. The car is smoother then stock but planted and sure footed. Wheel hop is a gone and the side skip when hitting bumps into the turns is gone. No more floatyness at higher speeds and I no longer worry about how the car is going to react over bumps or rough roads even at speed. Only bad part is that it rides so well that I now have to keep checking my HUD to try and keep myself close to the speed limit, just so easy to fast and you don't even feel it.

How about some pics on how the car sits now
I have been thinking about getting some of these too.
Glad to hear the review thanks for posting
Only pic I have right now is the one in my sig going the speed limit on the freeway. I believe that car sits 26.5F and 26.75 in rear. I think i'm going to put the front down to 26 and leave the rear.
Forgot my buddy took pics. here is one more.
And one on freeway

I had a feeling you would, just didn't know you would like them THAT much
Congrats
BTW,did you change the ride height?
The front i think stayed about the same but the rear went down about 1/4 inch I believe. I'm going to lower the front some more and get the rake set. Then have it aligned. But it drives and looks awesome right.
I'm seriously considering these. I heard the installation of the rear shocks is a pain because you have to drill a hole in the cargo bin to adjust it. Is this true?

Honestly I don't think any part of the install was a pain. Went pretty smooth. The instructions do show where to drill the holes in the trunk floor. For me this actually was a pain because I haven an aftermarket stereo and after lifting the rear carpet discovered that my entire trunk has been dyno matted. But I got it no big deal and it makes adjustments so easy. I can make it a completely different riding car in about 3 minutes.
Was your vette already lowered on stock bolts when had the Pfadt's installed?
I'm thinking of doing the same thing but curious to know if their will be any problems with C5s already lowered on stock bolts (like mine).
Thanks for the post!,

Initially I lowered the most on stock bolts without any bushing cutting on the front or anything in rear. But still wasn't low enough for me. I hate wheel gap. So I had my car ludacriously lowered, my completely removing the bolts in the front and lowering bolts in the rear.
Like this:
Which looked great. But when driving on the freeway it would bottom out at certain areas, get real bouncy on uneven roads, real floaty at freeway speeds and when hitting bumps in mid turn you definetely didn't feel good at all, alittle scary. So quickly I looked at other options, I still want it low but I want to feel safe. So after speaking with several guys withe PFADT coil overs I decided to try it and SOOOOOOOOOO glad I did. That car is alittle higher then before but not much and it rides better then it did stock. Rides great and feels 100% safe. The coil overs replace your old shocks and springs so your bolts will be a thing of the past. Your coil over sets your ride height now. I'm still messing around with that to see where I want it.
