In a sense, the Maggie sort of turns on and off by itself via the bypass valve, when using light throttle the intake runs through the bypass valve and as you tip into boost the bypass valve progressively closes.
This is accomplished by using engine vacuum to operate the bypass valve.
There is no manual modification that I`m aware of.

You guys are all wrong. A Maggie can in fact be turned on or off. LPE installed a vallet switch located inside my glove box. Turn the key and you will get zero boast. I use it if I am going to let someone else drive it or take it to the dealer.
