Default Need Help?

First off let me state that I am fairly new to the forum and I have owned my 2002 EB Z06 since Aug of this year. A C5 Z06 EB was my dream car and even to this day i still cant believe it's sitting in my garage. Well here it is, on 10-22-07 I completed a purchase of a magnaflow X-Pipe, paying through paypal for my Z through a member on the forum by the name of Tx Ray-C5. He stated that he would ship it the week of the purchase on either 10-25-07 or if not the next day on 10-26-07. The pm he sent me stating of when he would ship it was on 10-24-07, that was the last e-mail i got from him. I have sent him about 4-5 pm's and also about 4 e-mails and he still has not replyed to any of them. My main question is what do I do, how do i get my money back, can i get my money back, did this guy rip me off for my $175.00? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you paid with PayPal via credit card you shouldn't have a problem; either PayPal or your card company should back you up. I've heard you can't count on PayPal though but I have never had a problem that I needed them to take care of so I wouldn't know.

Maybe somebody on here knows him and he just hasn't been available for a few days. Somebody else will chime in.....

File a complaint with Paypal. It really bothers me when I see so many of these Payment sent, Nothing shipped situations.

Hopefully you will receive it shortly. I would hate to see a forum member put the screws to another member.

Well,I know this may not go over that well, but, are you sure you have given him plenty of time?It seems like you have, but there are always two sides to the story.

I would do just like most everyone else does........

In the for sale section with a title something to the effect of "Bad transaction with*******"

This seems to get the most attention and a lot of times draws them out of the woodwork. As much as I hate seeing these threads,I wouldn't hesitate to protect other members from possible deception.

I think filing a PP complaint may be helpful too

Sorry for your bad experience.I really hope, and feel it will work out for you in the long run...............It's just how long do you have to run

Good luck and keep us posted
