Hello, I was wondering the average total cost including installation of a forged 402 in an 03 z06. I already have LG Pro headers. Anthony's post of the LG 402 caught my eye, and if he could chime in that would be great. I've been debating A&A's Vortech, ECS's Paxton, and Kenne Bell's kit which after an install/ (paint for the KB) would run between $8500-9,500 for each kit. The forged 402 NA would be the most reliable and a supercharger could be added later if the power got old. Just wondering where the cost fit. 21mc/Lingenfelter have theirs priced at $15,000, but they seem to be on the high end of most installers. I'm also wondering if my ls6 engine can be swapped to reduce the cost and if not how much are they selling for? Thanks

I'm currently having a 402 installed. It's has all forged internals, L92 heads, L76 intake, all associated hardware for the heads, different fuel rail set-up, and electrical harness. Total cost installed and tuned for me is going to be about $9,500. Expecting about 510rwhp/480rwtq

It completely depends on what you have now, and how radical you want to go with the build.
Remember when deciding to build a motor, decide what you want to do now because forced induction applications are going to have different requirements than what a good NA build would be.
With that amount of options that we have on these, shoot me an email and I'll spec out a motor for you.
With the Last Post ,u may wanna consider adding a dished piston now ,instead of deciding U want to fo Fi down the Road ,That way U can get with the boost
