Na, that other explanation sux. I'm with you. It's to make room for a helmet. It actually does help. That's my story and I'm sticking to it

My 17 yr old son was riding with me yesterday - and for the first time in 2 years he asked me how fast I've had it up to.

I noticed the same thing on mine when I first got it.I was a little concerned about it but I actually looked at a Z06 model I had that had the same thing.So I knew it was normal.

If you really want to get them thinking show them how the "dent" extends into the rear window glass. Let them try to figure out how that happened.

When I wear a helmet u have to put the drivers seat on the low position. There is a thick headliner on the Z06 that can be removed.
