Ls6

How hard would it be to install a LS6 into my 98 C5, considering buying one to replace my LS1 with high mileage. What exactly would I need or would I just be better off to take it somewhere?

As long as you use your current engine wiring harness, I think everything should bolt right in. May need to have your PCM reprogrammed.

With so many performance engines out there (with some costing less), why settle with just an LS6?

Why would you replace your engine? You can practically rebuild your stock engine block beyond LS6 performance numbers.

I think It is mostly swapping and just reprograming your pcm. Its basically the same motor with some tweaks to fix the problems on the ls1.
