C-5 paint
Hey guys, what is a fair price to expect on a total new paint job on a C-5 coupe, single color. Don't want to pass out when I go to the shop!

More like $5K - $8K depending on the condition of the existing panels, etc..

I say about 5K if staying with the same colour. Changing colours would be a few grand more.
Also do they leave the panels on or not is another factor.

Thanks guys, didn't want to get to far out of the price range when getting estimates, but it looks like from these comments there is a big range. No body work involved.

More like self applying. You just open the can of paint and toss it on the car.

I would say between $5 & $10, depending on the amount of work the body needs, also what brand of paint and clear you go with. When the time comes for me to block sand my car, I will shoot it with one top coat of original color from Glasuirt and then use the Glasuirt clear and clear the ever loving crap out of the car. It will look as if the car has been dipped!!!!!! Go with Glasurit a.k.a. "The Bird"!!!!!!!!!

I was told today $2000 to touch up my front nose clip, doors, and rocker panels from all the stone chips.

Hell, you may as well save up the rest and get the whole car painted. You're halfway there!
