anybody know what is the diff between the lg pro and the steet series? in LG's add theres a horse power and torque diff. anybody know why? also anybody install a heat gaurd or somthing to protect the starter from excess heat from the headres??
I think the only difference is the "merge collector" on the Pros. It's more costly to manufacture, and incorporate into the build, but it's value as far as adding power is debateable.
anybody maybe got some dyno sheets showing where the torque kicks in with the street headers?? I want them but i dont want the car to be a slug in the streets.
Use the link provided above and go to their website. Click on results and you'll find a number of dyno test results. I'd bet they have more information once you're able to contact them directly.

The LG Pro system uses a different collector to start with. It is a 'merge' style collector that promotes more savaging of the exhaust to build more power and toque at higher RPM levels. The Pro's are also a full 3" system all the way back. The Pro's feature a smoother Siamese X pipe design that has less turbulence in high RPM. These are designed to work with your factory, factory replacement or soon to be full 3" muffler system.
The Street Series were born from our Pro system and have the same 1 3/4" primary design but a less costly 4 into 1 collector. The rear section of the Street Series is a 2.5" rather than 3" on the Pro. These also use a stamped X pipe design, again still a used for more torque but reduces the cost from the Pro's.
The Street's were designed for the stock or bolt on car and still provide great gains over stock, but keeping more money in your pocket!
I have both in stock and ready to go! Let us know how we can help.
