I used red cold cathodes tied to my fog lights and now one isn't working and the wiring is fine... I'm thinking of switching to LEDs next and may have to mimic JDMs idea of the turn signal/DRL idea. Just not sure if I can get them to stay on constant at night and flash off with the turn signal. I'm sure Bell will figure it out for us though!!!!
Hi Bell!!!! Long time no talk to, hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
i bought a pair of neons to put in the coves and never got to put them in....i was gonna so this last winter.....but i was gonna use red and make them my turnsignals
Sup Rob? Long time no talk man! Done anything new to the car lately? I have been busy

Yeah...sorry about that guys. My forum went down and my host could not get it back up and I have not had time to re-make it so I just have a link to my car clubs site forum for now. I still have all the tech tips up on the site and will try to get the forum up sometime soon
Thanks for the compliments though! Can't wait to get a built motor in the next year or so...then I can make some serious power with the TT kit!
I installed Red cathode tubes in my vents last month and love them. Tons of good feedback. I bought them from Onzium.com i think the total for all the parts was under 20 bucks. Each kit has 2 light tubes and one transformer. You need to buy a second transformer. Eventually I will swap the cathodes out for LEDs, which will be just as cheap if not cheaper. If I had to do it again I would have just installed the flexable LED strips, but all my wiring is in place so it will probably only take a hour at most to swap them out. I wired it into the power socket in the center console and made a small switch plate that is in the console. It was easy to wire up that way and I didnt have to worry about adding a fuse.
