I installed the 24 LED strips, one each side. Took a few hours, but I think the look is great. It is discreet, but adds just the right touch. Also, while under the left front, I emptied the three drain "nipples"....each was full of leaves and debris, so if you get a chance, you may want to check those.
Here's a pic of the glow:
Maybe someone else will get the urge...I believe they are subtle enough that police won't mind, you can only see them from the rear, but hey, that's where everyone else usually is, LOL!!
Here are three more shots, one about 3/4 from the front, one from the side, and 3/4 rear.
My little digital doesn't always like dark pics, but I think good enough to give an overall perspective...the pictures make the glow a little brighter than it actually is...it is a soft glow, not too blatant.
if i ever did that, i'd do a red LED that would be tied in to the factory blinker system so it would flash with the turn signal when viewed from behind.

Mine are also blue. I tied mine into the fog light power so they flash every time I use the key fob to lock or unlock the car in the parking lot. Once I start the car, they go off. It just takes a simple toggle switch to kill them if you need the fog lights on. It always attracts attention.
Keep in mind, no matter how cool the blue looks, sooner or later, you'll run across a cop having a bad day whose going to remind you that any blue lights on the road are reserved for law enforcement or emergency vehicles.
The strip I used is actually purple, but looks more blue. I can't remember the source, but a search for flexible led strips should get you something. Think I paid around $19 for each one, because purple was hard to find. On ebay you can get them for around $10 each....I wired a switch under the dash....I wanted to tie them into the fogs lights, but I ended up with some reverse on/off...when the fogs were off, the sides came on.....probably wrong wire off the fuse box. I'm sure the idea has been around alot, I saw the pics from TheRadioFlyer, which is what started me thinking about it. Do have to say haven't seen any other ones around here with them, so it's nice to be a little unique!
Sorry George, I take full responsibility, and you're welcome! Had to find the pics but here's mine... Still gotta give thanks to SpdKilz for help on the install. It's been a while but I think that I used a 6" StreetGlow tube, took some time to wire it up but it was a simple mod while I have the wheels off installing the vent screens.
