would be nice if the pdf was placed on an ftp or web site. I have a copy of the autocad file, but can't get it printed out... (check that.. $40 from the local blueprint joint)
they can usually convert to pdf, only it will be on one page. Then just have them enlarge it by a factor of xxx% to get it to be the correct dimensions.

I made mine from 3/4" plywood. I would think 1/4" might be too thin to hold in. I covered both sides with dynomat (peel & seal). The improvement in sound reduction was HUGE!! I pulled it down when driving to test and was shocked at how much quieter it was. I have Borla Stingers so my drone was noticable. I have the file in AutoCad if anyone needs it. I can also convert to PDF if necessary.
Hey there!
Could ya please shoot me the template in AUTOCAD 14 format. cowboy@shasta.com
Thanks
JP
To people that have made their own. How perfect does the fit have to be? I cut my MDF and like any other human it is not perfectly on the line. So my real question is, if the edges don't seal perfectly will it still cut down alot on the resonance?

YES, and you will definitely notice the difference right away. My first one did the same thing and on the second one, i sanded everything down until I had about 1/8" left on the top and then with the felt it fit snug as a bug in a rug. But even without a perfect fit 60-70% of the noise will be eliminated.
Hello, new guy here. Well, and old guy new to the forum..
I have been pondering doing the partition on my own and would really appreciate your template in pdf Bigstik.
02 ZO6 with a heck of a drone. Thanks in advance...Ray RAYBALL55@Yahoo.com

Thanks for the reply! Would it be worth it to add some 1" styrofoam insulation to the 3/4" MDF before i put felt on it or will that make it fit more akwardly?
OK guy's, kind of in the pay it forward mindset...I have an extra one that I cut for a Z06 i'll give to the first person willing to pay the shipping. Or free to someone who who wants to pick it up. I believe I used 5/8" mdf. You will have to cover it. I believe I also cut out the center oval. If not, it is marked.

You can try and add the 1" foam, but the wood will eliminate the majority of the sound. It kind of follows that old saying...."20% effort for 80% results and 80% effort for the remaining 20% results". the wood is the 20% effort and the foam will probably be the 80% effort.
