Never Ending 'Mod' Madness

Can't wait to see the finished product.... And especally can't wait for CI9 to see the car in person.....
I'm doing small time mods compared to you....

... I'm going to have a few flames licking out of the vent openings on the dash and and try to keep it kind of subtle...
...then get a little wilder with the flames in the instrument cluster..
...maybe even another surprise or too before it's all said and done...
...holy smokes! My engine bay is back together. I painted everything, even some of the wiring cover. The skull cap is bright silver with some metal flake in it. Have ordered some more chrome from Creative and so on...
...started removing interior pieces also. Dash faceplate is now completely red, ready to re-install today, seat trim, console, and probably will start with the door panels soon too.Powdercoated calipers with brackets ordered from Corvettepilot yesterday. Waiting for a battery cover and new chrome fluid caps from Pipedreams, both stablizer bars are soon to be off and to the painter as well.
Sorry for not sending pictures, waiting for my brother to get me set up for that to occur...
...car still only has 366 miles on it. Man, Dolores really had a impact on me....oh well. Hopefully, everything is well with Darla. Thanks again Jim....The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

...I had read that same thing about the instrument cluster somewhere in the past myself...seems like it had something to do with the fluidized gauge housings possibly malfunctioning if the cluster was laid flat over a period of time...
...I had it laying in that position just for the pic and keep it upright when storing it just for peace of mind...
