What a great story and hopefully a greater ending for you later.
Keeping fingers crossed for you to be able to bring that special
car back home this summer!!

Thank you. You know this may actually work out better for me if he does indeed decide to sell because the weather will be warmer for viewing and traveling. I have not seen that part of the country in person yet, so I'm trying to maintain a postive out look on this because it isn't over till it's over.

No, he did not send any pictures. I asked him to please send a picture the first chance he has after he removes her from storage. I do not know if he is a forum member or not but I did mention that he should check it out and consider joining if he is not a member.
Ask again in June and see where he is on selling..I think he is thinking a little about that possibility..knowing he has a buyer means he would save on the hassle of advertising and tire kickers...
Hello every one. I have just received a response from the current owner of my 1999 FRC, and wanted to inform all interested forum members of the outcome. First the good news. My Corvette has found a good home and is being well cared for. It is stored during the winter and has very low mileage for a vette her age. Now the bad news. She is not for sale at this time. The current owner did state that his circumstances chould change later this summer and if they did, he would contact me and give me first chance in the event he wished to sell. Well, not exactlly what I wanted to hear, but at least she is being well cared for by a vette guy, and there is still a slight chance of bringing her home. Time will tell. Again thanks to all the members who helped with their suggestions, information, and comments. Keith
What a awesome story, I have been following this for a while now. I have be busy with the mod fever again. I really hope the best for you on getting you long lost car back. If you ever get the chance to buy it back. Let us know.

Great post. Now go find your new love...there are so many great Vettes out there, especially the Z06 variety
I agree, there does seem to be quite a few great vettes out there looking for a good home. If all else fails I will find one but I still want to wait until I know for sure if my ex is available or not.
Please drive a C5 Z06...I promise you that the smile will erase the regret of selling your last Vette. The C5 Z06 is a truly amazing car that is very affordable and the best Vette for the money.
