That sucks,, but I'm sure it was not your dad's intention to ruin your tape. Just remember when you were a kid and all the trouble you got yourself into. Your dad was still there for you,, be nice,, you still have the car and the memories.

Sorry you lost the tape, but those are like long weekend trips from your location. Sounds like you need to go back and retake the pics. I can't think of a better reason to go on a roadtrip.
