I change my oil hot and it all drains out in 2 minutes with no more drips. I cant imagine why it would take any longer than that unless the car is stone cold just started to pull it up on the ramps after sitting all night. 2 hours and still dripping at a good rate? Thats ridiculous cold oil I suspect. I mean I have a 12 qt pan on my Pontiac and it all drains out in like 2 mins also with no dripping past that. Sure you will get a little residual over time as it slowly trickles down from rocker areas and such if oil is cold, but that aint nothing to be worried about if its hot.
