I've done many 300-500 or so mile day trips, and it's a fine car to do them in. Good luck and have fun. Don't forget to post pix of your journey! I want to take a cross-country drive in mine in the spring if time & circumstances permit.

Thanx man. Dont worry, pics will be taken.... My girl just got a brand new Canon camera, so....
Very nice. I like the paint scheme on the side. Any performance mods?
Thanks. So far only halltech stinger, Corsa pace system. going into shop this Feb. for Lg headers and there is a very good chance of H/C job too. Mild cam though. Don't race her so no need to go crazy. These cars are a lot of fun. I drive mine every day! Also, you will love the attention the car receives!
Thanx for the link. Found something interesting though. On that link it says 5773 01 Z06s were made. And when you look at your VIN#, the last 6 digits is your cars build number. Well they say it goes from 100000-105773. Well my last 6 digits are 110018. Whats up with that????

Nice. Ive already bought the Halltech Intake and am in the process of buying a set of LG Pro longtubes right now. Thats pretty much all I will do to this one. Maybe a cam in the distant future....
Nice find Shawn, nice to see ya come over to this side
Ive always wanted to get a Z06 and since Chris wanted to buy an SS.... The time finally came. Ive been looking for one for a few months and luckily found this one. Ill be getting up with you and Brian soon to let you guys look it over....

Go for it, low miles very good price, I ran 12.3 at 115 in my bone stock 01, on the stock F1 supercars. After my mods the car tranformed into every other cars worst nightmare, hence my plate
Thanx for the breakdown.... Didnt know the MY with mod red interior was that rare....
2001 Millenium Yellow w/ Mod Red interior - 1 of 95. Sweet! When the guy I bought it from told me it was "Rare", I told him it was because no one would intentionally buy a Yellow car with a red interior. Plus I thought he was trying to pull some salesman "stuff" on me. At first I wasn't sure I liked it, but now I love it!
Good luck with your new ride! You're getting an excellent deal on one of the best performance vehicles ever made!
Stock dyno RWHP - 329hp
W/ LG longtubes, Black Wing and dyno tuning - 357rwhp
I've seen better and worse, but the runs were done in FL in the summer with shop air-temp of over 100 degrees which I'm not sure the dyno computer fully corrects for.
01,QS, its a great car..just turned 52k miles....very reliable. and with a tune , ported exhaust manifolds.02-04 intermediate pipes, and intake mods. 382rwhp and 373 tq......i plan on 04 z shocks this spring. and maybe a new windshield..plenty of pitts and nicks from drivin' with other crazy vetts in so cal....

Those are nice numbers for barely anything done.... So it was the stock manifolds, just ported? Whats the difference in 01 and 02-04 intermediate pipes? And what intake mods do you have?

From what everyone told me, that seems to be the norm for stock form rwhp #s.... Nice choice on car too!

thats the diff with 02-04 exhaust? no pup cats, or 'pre-cats" that were on our 01's...the manifolds are not "just ported", they are truly ported and flow as good or better than shorty headers.the nice thing , here in socal, no smog issues visually, and it looks stock..obviously long tubes are the best..but bang or rwhp for my buck is also important..
.intake .open air box lid, k & n and dif air bridge and coupler...and of course a tune...it all makes a big difference working together...
the dyno shop in santee did the tune.
your right about the heat..my tuning was done during a spring morning..cool , damp air...
do a search on 01 rwhp-its all over the place...like you said some more some less.

Very nice! In fact better than I've seen on some 02-04 cars with more done than you have. That's pretty strong! No way cool air is going to net me 20-plus hp.
