Thats a Cessna 421 RAM VII.. Its a customers plane. We refinish about 5 planes a month. Did a little over 200 planes last year between overall and touch up jobs..
Ok I could quite tell if it had wing mounted engines or pylon mounts, the Vette was in the way! I know on the earlier model Citations they still used de-ice boots.
That's a lot of a/c refinishing. Yeah when I first saw the pictures I wondered about overspray on that a/c in the hangar.
Oh, and the RAM version that adds P&W turbines replacing the Continentals right? I've not flown one of those but I did fly the Corsair which had Garrett's. Of course that was quite a few years ago.

The ram adds upgraded TSIO550 piston motors with custom intercoolers, Vortex generators on the wings and tail and there is a winglet option as well...
No over spray. I used a small touch up paint gun to keep over spray to a minium..

Nice job guys.... Larry, I'd watch going in and out of the garage any more... I know what you mean about little things bothering you. Mine's going in for some "Small" body work, stay tuned, and I'm having my guy spray the entire car...

Oh so those are still Continentals.
I've flown a RAM 340 out of south texas many years back but I thought it was a Pratt on the 421. Lots of time in the C421, I use to like flying it a lot. The Corsair which was a 441, if I remember correctly, was basically a stretched and wider 421 platform but with Garrett turbines. Either way I liked all those birds.
Dang, I'm trying to do this all from 18 years ago memory.
I knew there was a 425 and a 441, one had Pratt's the other Garrett's. So I have them backwards. the 425 was the Corsair with Garrett's and the 441 was the Conquest with the Pratt's?
I know I could wiki or google this... or go dust off the log books!

A close friend of mine sent me a couple vids of snowy approaches into a large mid west city over the holidays on some 737s. Totally illegal to do these days. But just for me and to rub it in I guess and motivate me back into the biz. I love those approaches to minimums (200 feet) on a snowy day and crunching down onto a snow packed icy runway. 120,000 lbs of jet, yeah my kind of fun!

A friend of mine sent me an awesome video of a bunch of jets landing in New Zealand at "the worlds windiest airport". Some scary stuff.
