Default vert top rubbing/wearing

i have a 98 vert and the upper/rear corner (above the door handles @ the top) of the door glass seems to rub on the convertible top when i close the doors. obviously.. i try to close/open the doors with the windows cracked a little to avoid the wear on the top. has anyone else have this problem????..or am i just lucky?

I think that may just be the top settling with age. Mines an 02 and it still sits at about 45 degrees so there's no contact as the door closes. Maybe its just sagged a little?

Difficult to suggest anything without a picture. Would a piece of wire (green gardening wire) threaded into the seam maybe provide some support to hold it away from the door movement?

Adjusting the window tip in may well help. Bear in mind that adjusts the whole set up of the top

Default Mine too!!

I noticed the same thing on the 99 vert a couple days ago so I checked the in-law's 2000 and it showed the same thing.

I am eager to see the repair. Boy does this forum rock for keeping our vettes in great shape!!!

Thanks to all
