i have a 98 vert and the upper/rear corner (above the door handles @ the top) of the door glass seems to rub on the convertible top when i close the doors. obviously.. i try to close/open the doors with the windows cracked a little to avoid the wear on the top. has anyone else have this problem????..or am i just lucky?
I think that may just be the top settling with age. Mines an 02 and it still sits at about 45 degrees so there's no contact as the door closes. Maybe its just sagged a little?
Difficult to suggest anything without a picture. Would a piece of wire (green gardening wire) threaded into the seam maybe provide some support to hold it away from the door movement?
ok guys.....i just spent an hour in the garage. i can get the passenger side glass to miss the top but i can't get the driver's side not to rub. any ideas?
