For all of you who have followed this SAGA for the last 6 months, the wait is finally almost over. Above is the finalized Black Chrome Sample. I can't even begin to tell you how AWESOME it looks. Trust me on this one, the pics are not even close to how stunning this piece is. We are green lighting the entire project!

Today we inked the deal for the initial manufacturing run of the following:
200 C5 Black Chrome Rear Inserts
100 C5 Black Chrome Front Inserts
200 C6 Black Chrome Rear Inserts
100 Sets of C5 Black Chrome Volume *****
100 Sets of C5 Black Chrome AC *****
100 Sets of C6 Black Chrome AC/Radio *****
50 Sets of C6 Nav *****
10 Black Chrome Catch Cans
We have gotten a lot of requests for the prices, so here is the rough estimates for the introductory prices. The prices will fall somewhere
in this range for the introductory sale. The introductory sale will be limited to the following Qtys
100 C5 Black Chrome Rear Inserts ($65-$75)
50 C5 Black Chrome Front Inserts ($55-$65)
100 C6 Black Chrome Rear Inserts ($65-$75)
50 Sets of C5 Black Chrome Volume ***** ($39-$45)
50 Sets of C5 Black Chrome AC ***** ($39-$45)
50 Sets of C6 Black Chrome AC/Radio ***** ($69-$79)
25 Sets of C6 Nav ***** ($29-$35)
5 Black Chrome Catch Cans (If you have to ask, you can't afford it
)After that we expect to rotate these items into our regular inventory with a price increase of 10-20 percent.
Next up
The C5 Engine Bay will start production as soon as we land the above product.

Sometimes we take money up front for these kind of things, but only when we are pretty darn sure of the timing.
Since I don't yet have a solid manufacturing date (should have it in a day or two) and because we can't really predict what is going to happen since this stuff is all new, we decided to do this.:
1) We will release it to the Mod Fever Club Members via an Email invitation.
2) After the release to the MFC Members, we will most likely build a back door web page just for Corvette Forum Members and release it here on the CF, but block it from the main web site.
3) When things settle down and we can verify counts, we will open the back door and post it on the web site for the general public.
That's the plan as it sits...

Do you think there's a possibility to do wheels in black chrome?
I'd keep my Mallett 18's if I could get that done,otherwise I'd probably
go with something that has a bigger lip.

We are looking at it, but it is not on the immediate horizon. Wheels have a little more to them because they are constantly exposed to the elements.
We are talking to a couple of the big wheel guys and looking at some custom designs, but the ability to do one off dips is still very very questionable
