Even though this is not C5 related and this thread might get moved or locked down, I've been there for the last three days. I actually got to the point that I was on stage and was going to bid on a car....but it was sold before I ever got to open my mouth.
I talked to two very pretty ladies at the GM area, about the ZRI. List price is $99,995. The car that will be auctioned - actually the right to purchase the first production ZR1 - will be finished in LeMans Blue. They are not bringing the color back into production - but ZR1 #1 will be the only car painted in that color. This information is what I was told.
The ZR1 is a very cool looking car......

Alot of oddball vehicles across the block yesterday and today... and I kind of lost interest already. It was like watching people that spent thousands of hours putting an engine onto, well, anything they could strap an engine onto.

Lame
Yea, Jesse James has an Ed Roth sense of artistic humor about him.
The ZR1 is item #1316 and will be going on Saturday (it looks like in the evening) 58th from the last car on Saturday. It will be interesting, as the first production Shelby GT500 went for $600,000!
