c5 rocking seats
well i had the old c5 rocking seats on my 99coupe. got them fixed in tampa at a corvette shop. a little less then a year later the seat is again rocking back and forth. should this be happening again or did they just not fix them right the first time. it cost me 380.00 dollars the first time to get them fixed.

Melting Slicks
there is a post on here somewhere about a fix that only costs 1.75 for the nylon washers and a saturday with a buddy and beer. I think the fix you got was cheep washers or something.

The repair should have lasted longer than a year. There have been a number of DIY fixes for this problem - a search might turn them up. If not, PM me your e-mail address and I have a few Word files on this topic I can send you.
