Stealth Bomber!! I wonder if such a car would somehow escape detection from police radar. Hmmmmmmmm.....

Funny you should ask. Just a few days ago I was discussing laser jammers and how to escape a laser gun to a friend of mind who happens to be a motorcycle cop. Looking at my black '98 vette with no front license plate he said that my black car would be one of the more difficult ones to shoot. He then mentioned that if it was flat black it would almost be impossible.

It looks wierdly cool to me, but it's a sloppy paint job. Did you guys notice the spill on the right headlight area of the FRC one? It's even in the vanity photo with the fogs on , but slightly harder to make out. Probably photochopped out. That's makes it sloppy to me. since he could have spray canned over it
That's not a spill... its a logo done in gloss so it stands out, notice the tiny amount of color in it?
I love the satin black look when its "consistent" but that vert looks like a rattle can job. The Benz or 1st Gen camaro is the ticket. The FRC is close, but the consistency seems to change just past the back of the door to the back. Also the front fascia seems darker as well.
I wonder if flat paint would affect the coefficient of drag. Granted it's not that much less smooth, but think of all that surface area. That might add a buck or two of gas to the cost of a trip.
