Have you thought about a soft, pliable rubber? I want a lip like this but I know I'll break in short order, so I'm holding off until someone can make something that will survive the occassional parking curb.

Looks good, but I think it would look even better if there was more of an air splitter look to it. i.e. the lower edge protruded out further horizontally. That design in carbon would look so good on a light colour like MY.
IMHO anything other than some sort of flexible material/rubber for something like that is just gonna break within a week of normal street driving and look like crap with rock chips marring any painted surface as well and cracks on it with the first driveway or speed bump hit.

Yes it might be possible to make it out of the same material as the Ford Mach 1 lip that was made for the 99-04 Mustangs. They're very durable, a few of my friends own Mach 1's. Just might be something to think about.
