Whenever I see a car with no emblems, wrong emblems, whatever, I figure that the car has been wrecked, and the owner put on what he thought was a better looking emblem, since he had to redo it anyway. That having been said, I'm leaving mine alone, but I never did like the "oakley" O around the flags, either.

I like the script lettering and nostalgic notion of the two word "Sting Ray" too, but I wouldn't feel it was justified to put it on a C5.

I put them on my 98 because I happen to like them and they're easy to clean. They don't say C5 OR C6, so I don't see what the big deal is.
